Chateau Millegrand MOURRAL

Chateau Millegrand

Château Millegrand Mourral Grande Réserve

2012

Red Wine

Minervois

Minervois is one of the top appellations in southern France’s Langudoc region, famed for its sun-baked, wild-herb covered landscape and its richly flavored wines. Chateau Millegrand’s Grande Reserve is a classic blend of Syrah, Carignan, and Grenache. It’s crafted from very old vines that yield a tiny amount of fruit, but intensely concentrated flavors of dark berries.

Classic southern France with intense ripe plum and black currant with notes of fresh cut herbs like rosemary, thyme, and lavender.

Generously ripe, dark fruits greet your palate, with plush rounded tannins and notes of black pepper and other spices on the finish.

*****

the deep blackish ruby wine develops exceptionally well with a bit of air. earthy and smooth.
