A pioneer of Washington state agriculture, Chief Kamiak of the Yakima Nation initiated the irrigation of Washington’s now famous Columbia Valley wine growing region in the mid 1800s. In 1907, our grandfather led his family to the same fertile region and established Kamiak Ranch, inspiring the name for what is today the Kamiak wine label.

The interplay of three grapes come together in the 2012 Rock Lake Red to make an extraordinary wine. Aromas of raspberry, blackberry and black currant waft from the glass with just a hint of caramel tantalizing in the background. A soft, voluptuous entry leads into explosive fruit flavors and long lingering finish of spicy oak.
