“This vintage is complex, with layered fruit aromas, and beautifully structured, built as it were to improve over time. There is a cool-climate note to this wine, with peppery notes that lend pizzazz.”
Spearmint, cassis and blackberry leaf with even suggestions of cardamom and cocoa in the nose. The palate is doonright Burgundian—lush, creamy, and savory—lots of dark fruit—sloe and Damson plums, bing cherries, and a bright acidity, with exceptional length.
