Solane is produced from Corvina and Rondinella grapes grown in the heart of Valpolicella Classico area. Following, a careful vilification and controlled fermentation, it was refermented on fresh marc of partially dried whole grapes to enrich fruity-delicate aromas and to extract softer tannins. The wine is aged in wood for about 15 month. Solane is notable for its rich and full-bodied structure and is suitable for long ageing.
