Nicky and Gaby Hahn established their namesake winery in 1980. Nestled in the majestic hills of Monterey County, the winery is still family owned and operated. Today, the Hahn children, Philip and Caroline, share their parents’ pioneering spirit and passion for producing hand-crafted wines. This Pinot Noir offers aromas of red cherry and ripe strawberry, followed by bright flavors of plum and black cherry.
The grapes for this charming, fruit-forward wine grow primarily in the cool-climate Arroyo Seco region of Monterey County. This region sits on a gravelly alluvial plain at the foot of the Santa Lucia mountains. Cool winds from Monterey Bay ensure gradual ripening and ideal development of vibrant flavors. After harvest, we age this wine in French oak (40% new, 60% neutral).
