Founder’s Red Wine
buena vista viticultural society
Founded in 1857 in Sonoma, Buena Vista is California’s first premium winery. Count Agoston Haraszthy, founder of Buena Vista, saw in Sonoma one of the great wine growing regions of the world. He laid the foundation for California viticulture when he bought thousands of premium grape vines from Europe. Buena Vista Winery honors this tradition of excellence and the Count’s vision with this red wine blend. The deep color leads to rich aromas of black currant and cherries.
aromas of rich, dark chocolate and soft baking spices. dark berry flavors, plum skin, and mocha mingle with hints of cinnamon and vanilla. nicely structured and well-balanced, this wine has a long, dense finish that lingers long after the first sip.
