The grapes for The Monterey Vineyards wines come from vineyards located in the northern most area in the region’s long valley, which begins in Monterey Bay and runs southeastward down the California coast. Cool Pacific Ocean winds make the northern part of the valley perfect for elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Diverse soils and a long growing season contribute to these wines’ ripe, complex flavors and impeccable balance.
